Product: HP LaserJet Pro M15w Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
Hello
Tried to upgrade your printer using the firmware installer provided by HP but it broke your printer : it is not recognized anymore netiher connected on network and the power light is just blinking ?
Here is the full solution :
- Get the RFU file named HP_LaserJet_Pro_M14w_M17w_FW_Update_20200609.rfu file from this post : https://www.reddit.com/r/printers/comments/k8gfgi/torrent_collection_of_old_hp_firmware/
- Download this file https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/ready2dl/USBSend.exe
- On your PC search for CMD and select Run as Administrator. Go in the Folder where you saved the 2 downloaded files and run usbsend HP_LaserJet_Pro_M14w_M17w_FW_Update_20200609.rfu
- Just wait for the solid power light - it should take less than 2 minutes
- You are done !
