Hello!

I have a Jaserjet Pro MFP M281CDW printer and its firmwire upgrade was interrupted. The printer console says "Resend Upgrade" but it does not upgrade. I was wondering if there is a way to upgrade the firmwire manually.

I would appreciate any help.

Yes, you can manually upgrade FW by running HP Update Utility.

Click on Printer Firmware then

Click on HP Color LaserJet Pro M280-M281 Multifunction Printer series Firmware Update Utility 

 

Try this to check,

 

Edit: It's a Utility .exe, so you download it, then run it, and then choose Printer to Send Firmware to. A smiley often shows when it's done.
