HP Ink Tank Wireless 415
Microsoft Windows 11

HI I have a HP Ink tank 415 printer and is already installed and connected to my Home WIFI router. Recently my service provider replaced the router with new one and now i am unable to connect to the printer. Tried running HP smart app but it is asking password to access the web interface. I forget the previous password. How to get it resolved. Please help. Is there any reset option available to reset the web interface password?

Hi @SGSPSLA,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand you are not able to use the printer wirelessly.

As the network name is changed, the wireless settings on the printer have to be changed and reconnected to the network to resolve this issue.

To prepare your printer for a wireless connection, restart the printer, computer, and router.

  1. Turn the printer off, and then wait 10 seconds.
  2. Disconnect the printer power cord from the printer.
  3. Turn off the computer or the device you are trying to print from.
  4. Connect the printer power cord to the printer, and then turn on the printer.
  5. Disconnect the power cord from your wireless router, and then wait 10 seconds.
  6. Reconnect the power cord to the router. Wait until Internet service is restored. Internet service is interrupted while the router is off.
  7. Turn on the computer.
