HP Ink Tank Wireless 415

Hello HP Team,

Screenshot 2025-08-08 192553.png

I have an HP Ink Tank Wireless 410 series printer. I had set a custom administrator password in the past, but unfortunately, I have forgotten it.

I have already tried:

  • Network reset (Wi-Fi + Cancel buttons)

However, the printer still prompts for the admin password when I try to access the Embedded Web Server or certain settings in HP Smart, so I cannot complete setup or change configurations.

Printer Details:

  • Product Number: Z4B53A

  • Serial Number: [edited]

  • Firmware Version: KEP1FN2113AR

  • Regulatory Model: SNPRH-1506-01

Could you please guide me on how to perform a full reset or provide the necessary steps/code to clear the administrator password?

@DigitalAuxiliu, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Factory Reset Process!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Network Reset:

  • Although you have already tried a network reset, ensure you followed the exact steps: hold the Wi-Fi and Cancel buttons simultaneously for a few seconds until the Power light blinks.

Factory Reset:

  • As a more drastic step, you might consider performing a factory reset, if applicable for your printer model. This generally involves holding a set of buttons or navigating through a specific menu option. However, this option may erase network settings and custom configurations.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!

I have already tried every type of reset, including the standard network reset (holding Wi-Fi + Cancel until the Power light blinks) as well as the factory reset instructions you mentioned. Unfortunately, the printer still prompts for a custom password.

There appears to be no working online solution for this issue, which is why I reached out to you. I would appreciate your guidance on how to fully clear or reset the user/admin password, as the printer remains inaccessible despite multiple reset attempts.
