Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.
If you've forgotten the admin username and password for your HP LaserJet Pro MFP M148fdw, you can reset it by restoring the printer to its factory-default settings.
Here's how:
Steps to Reset the Printer:
Access the Printer's Control Panel:
- On the printer's control panel, press the Setup button (it looks like a wrench or gear icon).
Navigate to Restore Defaults:
- Use the arrow keys to navigate to Service > Restore Defaults.
- Press OK to confirm. The printer will automatically restart.
Reconfigure the Printer:
- After the reset, you'll need to reconfigure the printer settings, including reconnecting it to your network.
If the above steps don't work or you encounter issues, you can try a more advanced reset method:
- Turn off the printer.
- Press and hold the Right Arrow and Cancel (Red X) buttons while turning the printer back on.
- Keep holding the buttons until the printer powers up and resets.
