Product: Office Jet Pro 9015
Operating System: macOS 10.14 Mojave

New Printer and attempted to download the printer driver from H/P website. Told I had errors C0000022 and given a number to call for support.  A Harry King in Atlanta informed me that the problem was that my IP address was corrupted and I needed to get a router firewall and clean out the dangerous incursions by multiple foreign hackers. He quickly moved me to Eminent Business Services who installed the firewall ? and installed the printer driver. Of course, for a fee.  Is this a legitimate HP process?  Or, was I scammed? To be clear, this was not a phone call to me, this was through your website.

Please let me know asap.

Looks like a scam to me. You probably goth phished to the fake support page.
