My printer has been working fine for a few years, but now the printer screen on my HP ENVY Photo 7155 will light up with a loading bar and some dots below it. But it freezes with all of the dots empty except 1 and the bar full. You can't power cycle it. I have tried unplugging it and turning off my wireless router. Also, the only way I can turn my printer off is to unplug it. The power button is not working either. While on my computer I found it still says that the printer is offline. I had it unplugged over night and tried the troubleshooter, nothing works!

Hi @ehchef,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If the screen on your HP ENVY Photo 7155 printer is frozen, here are a few steps you can try.
- Restart the printer: Turn off the printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few seconds. Then, plug it back in and turn it on again. This should reset the printer and may fix the frozen screen.
- Check for any error messages: If the screen is frozen because of an error, there may be an error message displayed on the screen. Take note of any error messages and try to troubleshoot the issue.
- Update the firmware: Make sure that the printer firmware is up to date. You can check for any available updates through the printer's control panel or HP's website.
- Reset the printer: If restarting the printer doesn't work, try resetting it. There should be a reset button on the back or bottom of the printer that you can press with a paperclip or a similar object. This will reset the printer to its default settings.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
