The title says it all. The printer I'm using is experiencing this issue out of a sudden. From what I remember, I did NOTHING to the settings. When I was about to print some college documents in fast draft mode, that suddenly popped up. The reason why I choose to use fast draft is because there are a lot of college materials to print out, and I found that fast draft printing speeds up the process significantly, and consumes less ink.
That being said, I've tirelessly tried every option there is.
- Restarting print spooler,
- renaming print subkey,
- disconnecting and reconnecting the printer to my pc (wired connection),
- restarting the printer,
- reinstalling the printer drivers,
- unchecking "let windows manage my default printer",
- cleaned corrupted files,
- ran a SFC/DISM scan,
and so on.
I hope someone here can understand my frustration and help me solve this infuriating issue once and for all.
