Product: HP OfficeJet 5255 All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

My OfficeJet 5255 started printing pages with several lines, starting with Get /DevMgmt/. I've read what others have asked but the solutions don't apply. This started after I spoke to a Help Line person about a scanning problem - which is still not resolved.  The suggestions I've read don't apply, e.g.,  I don't have those options under Device Settings.

Hi @DFP1415 

1. Uninstall Officejet printer from software applications.

 

2. Restart your computer.

 

3. And the install the next basic software:

 

* Click YES   to say thank you, 

* Click Accepted Solution when question is answered.

This didn't work.  I uninstalled the printer from the Control Panel - Printers and Scanners menu, and tried to reinstall using the downloaded link you mentioned.  The installation didn't work, and the pages are still printing.  When you say "Uninstall Officejet printer from software applications" - did you mean from Control Panel? I'm using Windows 11.
