Hello @Dupyprinter, and welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

If you're having trouble printing photos from your Mac to your HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e, here are some steps to help resolve the issue:

Ensure HP Smart App is Updated

  • Open the Mac App Store.
  • Go to the Updates tab and check for updates to HP Smart.
  • If available, update to the latest version. This ensures compatibility with macOS Sequoia.
  • Alternatively, download HP Smart directly: HP Smart

Use AirPrint Instead of HP Drivers

macOS Sequoia may block older HP extensions. AirPrint is the recommended method:

  • Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
  • Remove the existing printer by selecting it and clicking the button.
  • Click the + button to re-add the printer.
  • Choose HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e and under “Use,” select AirPrint.

Check Photo Format and App

  • Try printing from Preview or Photos app.
  • Ensure the photo is in a supported format (JPEG, PNG).
  • Avoid printing directly from third-party apps that may not support macOS Sequoia’s print dialog properly.

Enable Borderless Photo Printing

  • Open the photo in Preview > File > Print.
  • Click Show Details.
  • Select Paper Size as 4x6" or 8.5x11" Borderless.
  • Choose Photo Paper under Media Type.
  • Set Print Quality to Best.
  • Make sure Two-Sided is turned Off.

Update Printer Firmware

  • On the printer’s touchscreen:
Settings > Printer Maintenance > Update Printer
  • Or use HP Smart > Advanced Settings > Printer Updates

Reset Printing System (if needed)

  • Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
  • Right-click in the printer list and choose Reset Printing System.
  • Re-add the printer using AirPrint.

I hope the information shared has been useful and resolves your concern.

Wishing you a smooth and hassle-free experience ahead!
