HP 15T Laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I just received a brand new HP 15t laptop in the mail. I am trying to set up the HDMI to project from a projector but it is not reading. In the Settings/display section, it is saying that the display is 1/2 but it is not projecting through the HDMI projector. There is no image or sound. The speaker for the projector is also being detected but no sound.

Can you help me with this?

Hi @something123

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the HDMI issue.

Let's try these steps -

1) In the search box on the taskbar, type Device Manager, and then select Device Manager from the list of results.
2) In Device Manager, expand Display Adapter.
3) Right-click on the Display Adapter, and then select Uninstall device > Delete the driver software for this device check box > Uninstall.
4) Restart the computer.

Download and install the BIOS, Chipset drivers from this link
