it says repeatedly no matter what device I try to connect to it that it either cant find it or it cant connect to it

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

Restore network settings to default settings

Press and hold Wireless button on the back of the printer for at least three seconds.

 

Follow the below steps to connect the printer to your computer

  1. From the computer desktop, click Start, select HP from the app list, and then select the icon with the printer name.
  2. In the printer software, click Tools.
  3. Click Device Setup & Software.
  4. Select Reconfigure Wireless Settings. Follow the onscreen instructions.
