Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi Community,

Preface: Unfortunately I can't add my old HP LaserJet 1300 to my profile, the system just does no accept the Serial Number, which is: [personal info removed] .Serial Number Label.jpg

Here is my Problem:
Printer still works fine but Toner was low, bad contrast, what should be black was just grey. So, I did buy a new Toner cartridge, original HP Q2613A. But, disappointment, contrast is still bad.
I printed the "Self Test / Configuration page" by just pressing the left button for a longer time and there is a setting called: "Print Density" which is set to 3.
However in the Printer settings on Win10 (HP driver Dot4x64.msi is installed) there is no menu for print density.
Is there a way to set the print density to a higher value or what else could cause the bad B&W contrast printing ?
Appreciate your support, I'm looking for sustainability and would like to continue to use the printer instead of throwing away and buy a new one.
