HP Envy M6 1117TX Note book
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have a HP Photosmart C5380 All in One Printer & HP Envy M6 1117TX Notebook (both purchased in 2012) and working OK.

When I did the upgrade from Windows 8 to 10 my photo creations software that had templates to enable Disc Printing stopped working. I did not need it at the time. Now as I have plenty of time I find I can't use this old software.

I have searched the internet and this forum for answers and can't seem to find solution to problem. I know HP stopped supporting the Software but is there a way of still getting a copy the program that will work with windows 10?

I have done the driver software download (PS_A10_04_C5300_Non_Net_Full_Win_WW_140_404-4) Application file direct from HP web site. but during installation a window pops up saying the HP Bing Bar is not compatible with windows 10.

I then tried to find a solution in the Microsoft web site but got referred to this forum.

I am 70 yrs and technologically challenged. All I want is to be able to print my printable DVD discs

Seems that these Huge Conglomerate Companies keep finding ways to Obsolete products & Services to SELL more or get on to a Subscription program as did Adobe, AutoCad and others.

I am old, on a pension and can't afford all this techno crap, all a want to do is edit my years of home movies and print some DVD's to identify with pictures etc. is that too much to ask for?

Is there any one that has found a solution to this kind of problem?

I know it's probably been answered but I can't find it.

Much appreciated & thanks in advance.

Hi Sandytechy20,

Appreciate reply but link is no longer active and web site can not be reached.

My Printer is an old 2012 Photosmart C5380 All-in-One ink jet? I just need the old Program that used to come with it but since Window 10 came in, I can't reload from anywhere. Surely the program is still around at HP as they only stopped servicing in November 2019 & I only had to re format my computer in Jan 2020.

Surely someone has a copy of the program. As I stated the program seemed to download but a message kept coming up the HP Bing Bar would not work on Windows 10.

Apology for delay I did not see any reply's until this email.

Regards,

Kev

This might require remote access of the computer to fix the issue.

I request you to talk to HP support.

They might have multiple options to help you with this.

  1. Click on this link - https://support.hp.com/us-en/contact-hp?openCLC=true
  2. Select the country.
  3. Enter the serial of your device.
  4. Select the country from the drop-down.
  5. Click on "Show Options".
  6. Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.

I hope that helps.
