Hi- I'm having problem uninstalling my HP printer completely from my personal computer.  The main reason I am trying to do this is because I cannot install the full feature version from the HP website.  I keep getting error messages.  I downloaded it from the HP website & saved it to computer with no problems.

Attached are screen shots of what I see when trying to delete HP.  Where can I look to find an OPEN program?

Hi,

From the Contorol Panel select Uninstall a Program and type HP into the top search bar.

If there are any results uninstall any listed HP software.

Next right click the task bar and select Task Manager.

Open the Processes tab and sort the list by its name.

If there is any remaining HP process select it and press End Task.

Now try deleting the HP folder again and check.

If the same persists type services.msc into the start menu search bar and open the shown result.

Ensure the following services are stopped:

PML driver HPZ12

NET Driver HPZ12

Any remainign service starting with HP, such as th HP Network Communicator.

Now try deleting the folder again.

If that fails too, rename the folder into HP1, restart your computer and then remove the HP1 folder.

Please let me know if that works,

Shlomi

Hello- I did not see anything listed under HP in Processes nor anything listed in Services.  I was able to delete the HP Folder by renaming it to HP1 and restarting computer & then I was able to delete that Folder.  I wanted to tell you that everytime I try to install the Printer program using the HP website, I keep getting error message as shown in the attachment.  I am finding very little info on that particular Printer & would like some troubleshooting info on why it will not install.  The very first time I tried to install it, it did, but with errors that I do not recall what they were.  It seemed to work O.K. until I started computer the next day.  All the HP programs in my Programs & Feature were gone & I do not know why.  Does HP have an uninstall tool?  What else could I try?

Thank you for all your help.
