HP OfficeJet Pro 8125e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

So I purchased an 8125e, all-in-one, desktop copier/scanner/printer.   MY FIRST HP PRINTER.   Looks like MY LAST HP printer also!   Aside from unboxing the thing, NOTHING has been EXPLAINED or INTUITIVE!  Nothing

HP did not inform me that this printer is designed for PRINTER EXPERTS, possessing YEARS of direct experience in setting up various desktop printers.  That's the only thing that makes sense, to this 69 year old man, who began computing and using desktop printers during the DOS days.

Thank God my 23 year old daughter brings her patience and "new knowledge" to the ordeal.

We've finally gotten to having ink cartridges properly installed and a test sheet.

My desktop PC RECOGNIZES that the printer exists and THAT'S IT.

No matter how much I fight to get beyond that point, scan to the PC, send a print job to the printer, I get NOTHING.

I'm told that NO DRIVER IS LOADED.

Try, though I have, I have found NO WAY to install the correct driver.

I'm operating a PC with Windows 7 Pro.

Apparently HP DOES NOT support ANYTHING WINDOWS 7 related???   No way?  No how?

(Before purchasing, I was informed that this printer DOES support Win 7.)

I've scoured your TOO MANY web sites, tried to confer with IT support, with zero results.

WILL THIS PRINTER WORK WITH WINDOWS 7 or must I return it to Amazon for  refund?

ALL I NEED IS a FREAKIN WIN 7 PRINTER DRIVER!!!!!!!!

Welcome to the HP Community --

I am sorry you were told something that might not be true, after all.

I can find no evidence that this nice printer supports Windows 7.

Should you have a supported mobile device, you might make use of the printer that way.
