To connect your HP Smart Tank 525 printer to a Windows 10 PC and make it work over Wi-Fi, follow these steps:

Step 1: Connect Printer to Wi-Fi

Before you can print wirelessly, you need to connect your HP Smart Tank 525 printer to your Wi-Fi network.

Power on the Printer:

• Ensure your printer is powered on and the display screen is active.

Connect to Wi-Fi using the Printer's Control Panel:

• On the printer's control panel, tap on the Wireless icon (usually looks like a small Wi-Fi symbol).
• From the options, select Wireless Setup Wizard.
• The printer will search for available Wi-Fi networks. Select your Wi-Fi network from the list.
• Enter your Wi-Fi password when prompted, and tap OK or Connect.
• Wait for the printer to confirm the connection to the network. Once done, it will be connected to Wi-Fi.

Step 2: Install HP Smart Software on Windows 10

Download HP Smart App:

• Go to the Microsoft Store on your Windows 10 PC and search for HP Smart or download it directly from this link.
• Install the HP Smart app on your PC.

Open HP Smart and Add Printer:

• Open the HP Smart app once installed.
• Click on Add Printer.
• The app will automatically search for printers connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
• Select your HP Smart Tank 525 from the list of available printers.
• Follow any on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Step 3: Print Wirelessly

Once the printer is connected to your Wi-Fi network and the HP Smart app is set up, you can print wirelessly.

Print from the HP Smart App:

• In the HP Smart app, you can print documents, photos, and more by selecting the type of document you wish to print.

Print from Other Applications:

• You can print wirelessly from other programs like Microsoft Word, Adobe Reader, or your web browser.
• Simply select Print and choose your HP Smart Tank 525 as the printer.
