Eegads!  I change the toner cartridge and the frickin thing goes brain dead!  Stuck on purple light.  How do I wake it up so I can print ... like 10 seconds after it starts up???

 

You used to make great products, but in recent years, they pretty much all gone to ***bleep***!

Did  you install an OEM HP cartridge or 3rd party? This device is marketed as a OEM cartridge only printer.
