HP 2600 password 12345678 doesn't work & I can't set up to wireless network

I have a brain injury so trying to remember things is really hard.  Since I've had my HP 2600 for over a year it occasionally disconnects from my Network.  It's done it again.  I am wasting so much paper holding whatever buttons on my printer.  BONUS the password 12345678 doesn't work.

Hi,

Please make sure that Wi-Fi Direct is turned on and you can see the Wi-Fi Direct icon on the led.

Once the feature is turned on, press the Information button to print a report with the Wi-Fi Direct Name and Password.

Thank you. I think I've wasted at least 25 pages of paper, pressing buttons.  It's been 3 weeks since I've been trying to pair this printer. It's not just the password. 

I can't pair the printer to my Wi-Fi.
