Product: HP DeskJet 2655 All-in-One Printer

Printer won't update software or drivers. Print jobs in que rarely print.  System often says printer is offline, it is not.  Smart App wont print or scan.  Flat top does copy but no scan. 

Reboot, reinstall have little or no effect.

HP is awful with support or information.  HP2655 was replaced by HP with comparable  HP3755 (still unused in box), it is not as flat top is necessary. 

Appreciate solutions.
