I've got Windows 10 ( no idea if its 32 bit, 64 bit, or powered by pixies !).  This problem happens every now and again, I can't print as the driver is unavailable.  My IT skills in terms of this type of problem are practically zero, and I end up having to pay a computer repair shop to fix it each time.  There must be a cheaper way to fix this.  Is there a dummy's guide to how to do it, step by step in plain English that a 4 year old could understand.

Totally get you! Easiest way: right-click Start > Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners, click your printer, then “Remove.” Restart your PC, then add the printer again Windows usually finds the right driver. If not, grab it from the printer maker’s site.
