guys I have a problem scanning any documents through my scanner even when i'm trying to use the flatbed the same massage shows up that i cann't scan because the ADF auto Document feeder is jammed
-i use HP easy scan software to scan my documents
- i never used the ADF function ever and i have no genuine use for it so how to bypass it all together ?

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the scanning issue.
HP Easy Scan is currently not fully compatible with macOS Catalina and we'd suggest you use the image capture. We're actively working to restore complete functionality. You may refer to this document for more information - HP Printers - HP Easy Scan Is Not Currently Supported in macOS Catalina
