Hello. I am new here. My HP DeskJet 3835 used to work perfectly with my Windows 10 computer. It does not anymore even though I have not changed anything. I uninstalled and reinstalled all HP software online. When I try to add my printer, I get a message "Windows can't install the HP DJ 3830 series kernel-mode print driver." I cannot add my printer anymore. The printer itself checks OK, and I can print a test page. When I plug in the printer cable, my computer does not recognize it. I have 2 printer cables, and they both give the same result. When I want to print a document, I cannot see my printer listed in the print section. I tried all I can to add my HP 3835 printer but I cannot do it. No printer is seen at Settings > Printers & scanners.

Thank you for your reply. There are no error messages on HP 3835. The printer is currently not added on my computer. When I try to add HP printer, I get error "Windows can't install the HP DJ 3830 series kernel-mode print driver."
I use Windows 10 on my laptop.

Thank you for your reply. I did all you requested. While installing the drivers, this time it gave an error message: "Printer driver was not installed. The printer driver is not compatible with a policy enabled on your computer that blocks NT 4.0 drivers."
