HP 4002dn

Good morning,
I have a problem with the HP 4002dn printer,
the printer is permanently connected to the LAN network, and yet 30 minutes after turning it on I cannot access the configuration page. As if it were losing the network. the IP address is displayed. There were no such problems with the previous HP M404dn printer.

There is a firmware update that may fix the problem as I see a fix for

  • Update Auto Off/Sleep new requirements

If the firmware fix does not  help then ---

Access the printers embedded web page and set sleep to off or never.

another possibility is that when it wakes up it gets a different IP address from the routers DHCP server

You may need to log into the modem, find the Mac or IP address of the printer and make it fixed.
