Product: HP DeskJet 4158e All-in-One Printer
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I am reinstalling a 4158e printer with HP Smart. A window pops up asking for the pin #. After I enter & submit, it says the pin # is invalid. I have double-checked the # & reentered several times. What is the solution?

Please do a wireless reset for the printer with the video

there is no "pin" but you need the password to the modem / router


For another video that shows WPS  (push button)  and more ways to connect, click here.

WPS is explained on page 5 and 22 of the users manual.

this does not need hp smart.  you just need to press a button on the modem with 2 minutes.
