Product: HP PageWide Pro 477dw Multifunction Printer
Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

I have Energy Save Settings configured to standby after 5 minutes and to turn my printer off at night (10pm) and back on in the morning (8am). Despite the schedule, I can often see my printer fully on in the 10pm-8am window. Furthermore, at random times throughout the day, the printer will occasionally ping and go through what appears to be an an abbreviated startup sequence, sometimes even in the 10pm-8am window. This is not being triggered by any print job (I'm in full control of all devices on the network).

 

What am I missing here?
