Operating System: macOS 12.0 Monterey

My printer has worked fine for years. All of the sudden it no longer prints double sided form any device. Wireless or wired, despite that the double sided box is checked. 

I have restarted the printer. Restarted devices. I also reset my printing system on my Mac. But now I get an unable to communicate error when I try to re-add it. We have had this printer for a little over 5 years. Is it time to replace it?
