HP OfficeJet 6962 All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

HP 6962 printer hard-wired to desktop computer running latest updated Windows 10 and Microsoft Edge. Printer displays "print preview error" with no error number, and  simultaneously displays "There is not enough free memory  to print". Printer was printing OK since installation about four months ago, Started getting these messages today, while trying to print a 4-page .pdf file. Nothing added to, or changed inside the computer in past few days. All four ink cartridges have ink. Have tried turning the printer off, and unplugging it. No change. How can I clear the printer's memory? Thanks. 😀

@Tom6962, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.

I understand you are not able to print due to this error.

Let us reset the printer to its factory settings to resolve this issue.

On the printer screen, go to Setup > Tools > Restore factory defaults.

Note: This will delete all the settings on the printer.

Now, reconnect the printer to the network and try printing.

Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes.
