HP OfficeJet 7610 Wide Format e-All-in-One
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I started receiving prompts to update my printer driver via HP Support Assistant in March this year, and attempted several trimes to do so but got 'Installations failed' messages. I sorted an issue - probably not to do with the driver - with scanning not connecting to the laptop via USB, Wi-Fi, or ethernet, while prinitng was OK, and all other full feature s OK. In August following a Windows update, everything stopped working. I downloaded the HP Officejet 7610 series Full Feature Software and Drivers (https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software12/COL47659/mp-115382-3/OJ7610_971-2.exe) saved it, unistalled the existing drivers, installed it and ran.
I can now print but not with borderless printing, etc. which is business-critical for us. I have repeated the full procedure at least four times with the same result.

I have now noticed twice that as I run OJ7610_971-2.exe it announces itself as the BASIC driver version. It is the Nov 2014 release - where is the Full Feature driver?

Hi @Ishouldhaveknow

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Try these steps -

1. In the search box, type and open "Uninstall a Program".

2. Look for HP Printer software.

3. Right-click to uninstall.

4. In the search box, type and open “Devices and printers”.

5. In the Devices and Printers, look for your HP printer. If you see it listed right-click on it and choose “Delete” or “Remove Device”.

6. Open the run command with the "Windows key + R" key combo.

7. Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”).

8. Click on the "Drivers" tab.

9. Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click “Remove” at the bottom.

10. Select Ok.

11. Select Apply and Ok on the Print Server Properties windows.

12. Close Devices and Printers Once the software and drivers are removed.

13. Restart the computer.

14. Download and install the full-feature software and drivers from here.

15. Click on the downloaded file and follow the on-screen instructions.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
