HP 7740 LOCKED AND HOW TO RESET TO FACTORY

I want to restore the printer to factory settings.  Unfortunately the simple way, via the printer display, does not work because it is locked by admin. I never did that, but that's the way it is. It doesn't work with a LAN cable or a web server.  How can I reset the printer to factory settings?

I'd like to help!

I understand the printer is locked with adminstrator password and you would like to reset the printer to defaults.

We can perform a factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue

• The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
• I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
