All of a sudden my display panel on the printer stays lit.  I cannot find any settings that might have changed.  Anyone know how to set it so it goes to sleep when not in use?

Thank you

It sounds like your printer's sleep settings might need adjustment.

Here's how you can fix it:

Check Sleep Mode Settings:

  • On the printer's control panel, swipe left to access the Setup menu.
  • Navigate to Power Management > Sleep Mode.
  • Set the sleep timer to your preferred duration (e.g., 15 minutes).

Enable Auto-Off:

  • In the same Power Management menu, look for the Auto-Off option.
  • Choose a setting that suits your needs.

Reset the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on. This can resolve minor glitches.

Update Firmware:

  • Check for firmware updates using the HP Smart app or the HP website. Updates can fix bugs related to power management.
