Product: HP 8600

I asked what I think is fairly simple and straightforward question, and yet no one has responded.  Is the question

not clear? Or does it appear to stupid to respond? I have tried several options without success prior to posting, and was hoping the experts could shine some light on how this can be done or at minimum verify it can not be done.

 

Anyone??

 

I have HP printers 8600 and 8700 series, we have multiple users, some Mac others are PC.  I would like to download the drivers for the printers via the internet to USB drives, in both Mac and PC versions, and keep the USB drives with the printers.  Is this possible?

You can download all software and drivers for Mac and for Windows to any storage media including USB flash drive (or thumb drive).

 

Please note: from time to time, HP may update software and drivers, please come back (say once every 6 months) to check and download newer version if available.
