I have an older hp inkjet 8610 (2016) - has been a great printer - real workhorse. Last week started having some quality issues. Took out printhead and gave it a deep clean. It actually looked brand new! I then got brand new HP cartridges and added them to printhead. I initiated start and printer started normal. But I believe printer actually thought printhead was new and now stop me at point asking me to insert original cartridges that came with printer (assuming setup cartridges) well I can't locate them anywhere. Question is how do I get past this page without setup cartridges. Already tried full Reset - I saw on other posts there is a config page but don't know how to get to that page.

I've searched google and nothing specific for 8610 model. It would be appreciated if someone could provide me detail instructions how to move past this setup page.

Thanks in advance...

Took a bit to figure out how to get page but it worked. Now I have the dreaded print cartridge issue error message and cartridges are brand new out of box. 😞
