Hi,

The software dashboard has stopped working for the HP8620, will this ever be resurrected ?

Hi,

Is it the scanning software or the printer software that stopped working? these are 2 different things...

 

Try following the below steps and check if that may help to resolve a scan problem:


From the search bar type CMD, right-click on Command-Line and select Run as Administrator, be sure to confirm any prompt by pressing Yes.

Past the following command and press enter:

Sc config stisvc depend= rpcss/ShellHWDetection

Now restart your computer and check if you may able to scan.

Hi,

It is the "solution centre" software I think they called it where you can have total access to all information in relation to printer, i.e. scanning, printing etc, after a windows update it no longer works - will this be resurrected and sorted ?
