Operating System: macOS 10.15 Catalina
Received an email telling me I need to update the firmware by Nov. 14 in order to continue using InstaInk option, but the instructions given don't match the options avaiable in the printer settings. Any ideas on how to proceed?
To update the printer using the front panel, make sure the printer is connected to Wi-Fi, then:
- On the printer control panel display, from the Home screen, touch or swipe down the tab at the top of the screen, and then touch the Setup icon
- Touch Printer Maintenance
- Touch Update the Printer
- Touch Check for Printer Updates Now
- Follow the on-screen instructions. Your printer will let you know the update was successful.

You can also do the firmware update using the download available here:
