How do I hide the HP8720 Scanner's Native Interface to permit me to scan directly from the Acrobat Scan window in the Adobe Acrobat Pro 2017?   I don't want to use the HP 8720  csanner native user interface because this delays the strtup of the scanning process.

@Zycran,

Welcome to the HP Forums!

Thank you for posting your query on this forum, it's a great place to find answers.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

HP native scan does not come into the picture when a scanning software is opened.

For example, when you open MS Paint and click on scan it only scans from the MS Paint application and other scanning apps don’t come into play.

Similarly, when you scan from Adobe scanning option other scanning interfaces don’t come into the picture. It only scans from Adobe scan and uses that app’s interface. The scanning mechanism within the printer is used to scan.

In case the printer software is opening up when you start a scan from Acrobat send me a screenshot of the same so that I can provide you with an accurate solution.

Hope that answers your question and you have a great day!

If you wish to show appreciation for my efforts, mark my post as Accept as Solution. Your feedback counts!

Cheers!
