Hello, i have a problem with my HPOfficeJet 9010 Pro, i was trying to reset the printer and than after restarting i get this error " A problem has occurred with one of the printer's critical system files. A printer update will be installed to fix this problem. "
I was looking for a way to update it but i didn't find any method, the printer don't appear in HP Smart app .
I was looking to update it via USB but i didn't found the firmware.
Anyone can help me to fix this problem.
Thank you 🙏

Welcome to the HP support community.
I understand that you want to reset the printer, I am glad to assist you.
You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer.
The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.
I hope this helps resolve this issue completely.

Disable automatic firmware updates from the Front Panel to fix the issue.
- On the control panel/ front panel of the printer touch Setup or the Gear Icon
.
- Then scroll down to Printer Maintenance and select it. Then scroll down to Restore and select it.
- Then select Restore Factory defaults. When prompted to confirm the action, please select Yes.
- This will restore the printer to factory defaults and the printer will restart. Once the printer is restarted, On the control panel/ front panel of the printer touch Setup or the Gear Icon
.
- Then scroll down to Printer Maintenance and select it. Then Scroll down to Update the Printer and select it.
- Under update the printer, select “Printer Update Options” and select the option “Do not check”. When asked to confirm the settings, please select Yes.
- Then connect the printer back to the network.
Let me know how it goes.
