I'm attempting to set up a new (refurbished) printer and I continue to receive an error message that the printhead is not detected, missing, or improperly installed. I've removed and reinstalled the printhead multiple times as suggested by the support page, but the result continues to be the same error message.
Any ideas?

Welcome to the HP support community.
Perform a power reset
- Turn on the printer, if it is not already on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Wait at least 30 seconds.
- Plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet and printer without any surge protector.
- Turn on the printer.
Update the printer firmware
Updating the printer firmware might resolve printhead problems. Go to Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware for more information.
