Hi @PaoloDe,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

Thank you for reaching out. I'm sorry to hear that your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e All-in-One Printer is stuck in "Verifying" mode, and that previous steps haven’t resolved the issue.

This behaviour typically occurs during printer activation or setup, especially when verifying over HP Smart or Instant Ink. Let's try the following advanced steps to help resolve it:

Step 1: Power Reset the Printer

  1. While the printer is still powered on, disconnect the power cord from the back.
  2. Unplug it from the wall outlet.
  3. Wait 60 seconds.
  4. Plug the printer back into a wall outlet directly (not a power strip).
  5. Turn it on again if it doesn't power up automatically.

Step 2: Reset the Network

If the verification is stalling during HP Smart or Instant Ink setup:

  1. On the printer, go to Settings > Network Setup > Restore Network Settings.
  2. Reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi.
  3. On your phone or computer, remove and then re-add the printer in HP Smart.

Step 3: Factory Reset (If Still Stuck)

⚠️ Note: This will remove all settings from your printer.

  1. On the printer’s touchscreen, open the Settings Menu.
  2. Navigate to Printer Maintenance > Restore > Restore Factory Defaults.
  3. Confirm when prompted.

After reset, go through the setup process again using the HP Smart app

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
