HP OfficeJet Pro 9018 All-in-One Printer

Have had an HP 9018 working for years now and it randomly will no longer connect to my MBP. I have removed the printer, reset network configurations and tried setting it back up multiple times now and each time I go through the HP Smart app on the MBP and it gets to where it will connect the printer to the same wireless network and then says it cannot connect to the computer. I have tried setting it up via IP and that also doesn't work. I wish Apple would sell me a printer so at least when it stopped working I could reach out to a real live person because the HP virtual tool sucks. It just randomly stops communicating while you are going through their crappy TS steps. If anyone has any tips or tricks I would greatly appreciate it. If not, hopefully Costco will take back a couple year old printer and I guess I will go buy an Epson or something. Thanks. PS. On macOS Monterey.
