HP OfficeJet Pro 9022e All-in-One Printer

After a FW Upgrade my Printer cannot be used any longer

i got the error code 83C0000B.

I tried to reset using the hints using the power supply

but that didn’t work

how to do a factory reset without having to use the display in front !?

I cannot believe that a product from HP had such a failure and I’m struggling to get support from you guys (via telephone) really unfair to your customers!

Best regards

A reset will not resolve the 83C0000B error.

It is my understanding that HP teams are working to address the blue screen error affecting a number HP OfficeJet Pro 9020e series printers. HP is recommending customers experiencing the error contact the customer support team for assistance at https://support.hp.com.

I just escalated your case to a moderator and you should be assisted by the HP Support team.

Thank you @Bob_Headrick !.

Still waiting for their contact. But they keep charging me in the Ink+ Subscription.

I'm really disappointed with HP.

I will ask (again) to have your case escalated.  Your printer will likley require replacement, and at that time you will need to get your HP+ account transferred to the new printer.

We have a HP OfficeJet Pro 9022e in our office. Two days ago it tried to download an update. it gets to 100% then gives an error message on the screen to say the download failed. There is only and OK button on the screen, pressing this tries the download, which gets to 100% followed by a error message and an OK button, which when pressed starts the download.........

I think you get the message. The printer is stuck in a loop with no way to get out. It was fine before the update download which seems to have broken our printer.

Annoyingly HP have done this to our printer 4 weeks and 1 year after we bought it!

Is there anything we can do to get a factory reset on this printer (which was a replacement for a previous faulty 9022e...) without using the now useless touchscreen. The only other button I know about is the standby button which doesn't work either.

Thanks

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you want to reset the printer, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to perform a semi-full reset on the printer.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.

I hope this helps resolve this issue completely.

To thank me for my efforts to help you, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
