9025 Printer wont complete boot up.   Tried all the power off suggestions.  Any thoughts?

That’s frustrating! If your HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 won’t complete boot-up even after power resets, it might be stuck in a boot loop or experiencing a firmware issue. Here are some steps to try:

 

Step-by-Step Troubleshooting

Perform a Hard Reset

  • Unplug the power cord from both the printer and the wall outlet.
  • Wait at least 60 seconds.
  • Plug the printer directly into a wall outlet (avoid surge protectors).
  • Turn the printer on and check if it completes startup.

Update Firmware via USB Drive

  • If the issue is related to a software update, manually install the latest firmware:
  • Download the latest firmware for the HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 from HP’s support site.
  • Copy the firmware file to a USB flash drive.
  • Turn off the printer and plug the USB drive into the printer’s USB port.
  • Turn the printer back on—it may detect the firmware and prompt you to install it.
