Hello community,

Please somebody can help me with this error. It colud not start and in application pops up: "Error connecting to server - No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it."

Network Connectivity: Verify network connectivity between your device and the server. Use tools like ping or tracert to ensure that communication between your device and the server is possible.

Firewall Settings:

  • Check the firewall on both your computer and the server to ensure that the necessary ports are open.
  • Sometimes, firewalls can block specific applications or ports needed for the connection. You can look into allowing applications through the firewall instead of opening specific ports.

Server Configuration:

  • Confirm that the server configurations are correctly set up to accept incoming connections from your HP Access Control application.
  • Verify any necessary credentials or licenses needed for connection.

Service Status: Inspect the status of HP Access Control services on the server. Restart services if needed and ensure they are configured correctly.
