We have a Dell PC where we cannot install HP Smart. Whenever we try and install from Windows Store it goes through the complete installatiuon process, says it has installed HP Smart but then says it is loading HP AIO Remote when you click on the HP Smart icon. Then, to make things worse after the loading message, nothing happens - HPAIO Remote isn't loaded either.
I have successfully loaded the HP Smart software on another Dell laptop but have tried uninstalling AIO FEmore and reinstalling HP Smart several times with the same outcome.
I believe that I have asked for support on this before but didn't receive an answer - now my wife (who's Dell computer I'm trying to install the software) is telling me to throw out your printer and buy one that works so I would appreciate an answer as soon as possible to get us both out of trouble!!
I have checked other related posts and the response has just bee instructions on how to install HP Smart - I know how to do this and have done it many times now.
I don't see how running the installer for one software package can result in a different package being installed - pretty clever, huh! Anyway, I don't want clever, I want working software to allow my wife to use the printer.
I look forward to hearing from you very soon.

Hi,
HP Smart is supported on Windows 10 Version 1803 or later versions, I would suspect a such due to an outdated Windows version which does not support the app.
Please check the listed version as instructed below, see the Version Value within the Windows Specifications settings:
Assuming the version is outdated indeed, check for updates and install later updates for your PC, be sure to repeat the process till clicking the check for updates button return no additional results:

Hi Schlomi,
Thanks for the reply.
The Windows 10 version is older than required by the App as you suggested. Why doesn't the App say this insstead of loading a different App and then not working without any error messages.
I've been trying to update the version but keep hitting a Windoes Update error - possibly not enough storage - but will try and get this completed and try HP Smart again.
By the way, if I can't do this, why should AIO Remote install but not run? Doesn't even appear as an error message window - just nothing happens. We might need to fall back on this software instead.
All the best,
Andy
