HP App disappeared after a Windows 10 update. unable to retrieve since we lock down Microsoft Store.

Hello,

Try reinstalling HP Smart as follows:

  1. Click the Start menu, then the Windows PowerShell folder.
  2. Right-click Windows PowerShell, then More, and then Run as administrator, then Yes.
  3. Type the following command, followed by the Enter key:
    • Add-AppxPackage -register "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\*HPPrinterControl*\AppxManifest.xml" -DisableDevelopmentMode
  4. Normally, HP Smart should be installed again.

Thanks for the assistance. Unfortunately running the command didn't restore the HP Smart App.  Is there any other way of obtaining the HP Smart App?
