Hi @keela1

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thanks for explaining the issue—when HP Assistance or support pop-ups appear every time you print from your HP ENVY Photo 7155 on Windows 11, it’s usually caused by HP Support Assistant or HP Printer Assistant launching automatically due to outdated drivers or residual software triggers. This isn’t a required upgrade, but it can be resolved with a few cleanup and update steps.

How to Stop HP Assistance Pop-Ups When Printing

1. Update to the Latest Full Software Package

  • Visit the HP ENVY Photo 7155 Drivers Page.
  • Download and install the Full Feature Software and Drivers for Windows 11.
  • This replaces older components that may trigger pop-ups.

2. Disable HP Support Assistant Notifications

  • Open HP Support Assistant from the Start menu.
  • Click Settings (gear icon) in the top right.
  • Under Notifications, turn off:
    • Support messages
    • Printer alerts
    • Tips and tricks
  • Close the app and restart your PC.

3. Remove Legacy HP Printer Software

  • Go to Settings > Apps > Installed Apps.
  • Uninstall any of the following if present:
    • HP Printer Assistant
    • HP Update
    • HP Customer Participation
  • These older utilities can conflict with HP Smart and trigger pop-ups.

4. Use HP Smart as Your Default Print Interface

  • Open HP Smart and set it as your primary print and scan tool.
  • This app is optimized for Windows 11 and won’t trigger legacy pop-ups.

Let me know if the pop-up mentions a specific utility or message—I can guide you to disable it directly. You're close to resolving this for good.
