HP B109
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there,

I am trying to install an HP B109 Printer on a Windows 10 desktop PC.

Unfortunately the installation is not successfully completing.

I am using the HP driver's as provided on the HP website and following the installation instructions.

The installation cannot proceed beyond the point where the printer has to be connected via USB.

Despite the printer being connected, I am unable to press 'Next'.

The printer is recognised by the PC as I can print documents via MS Word. So it is not a USB cable/port issue.

When I try to open HP Solution Centre, it says that the installation has not been completed.

I am unable to complete the installation which is required to connect the  printer to my Wi-Fi network.

Would you be able to assist?

There seems to be known issues installing this printer on Windows 10. Is an update to fix these issues going to be made avaiable?

Many thanks.

7.) Type printui.exe /s and click Ok. (Note: there is a space in between “printui.exe” and “/s”)
8.) Click on the “Drivers” tab
9.) Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it Click on it and click Remove at the bottom
10.) Select Ok
