HP Borderless Issue

Says selection conflicts encountered in photoshop but my printer says its capable in the specifications
I cant download hp smart app because it just sits there with a throber, I have uninstalled reinstalled cleared cache ect and nothing makes that infernal app work so i can access it from online but thats all.

printers drivers are up to date and still nothing will make it let me print borderless.

Although the specifications do not specifically prohibit Borderless printing on "Plain paper" or Paper Size (printer model dependent), it is possible the settings are objecting to either the paper type and size combination, the Quality setting, or one of the hidden settings (in one of the other tabs).

Unfortunately, lacking software that will automatically prevent conflicts and tell you which of the settings is causing the problem, you will have to test your setup to eliminate the conflict.

Yes, I realize you want to know which setting is at fault. 

What? 

Conflict preventing software exists -- the printing queue is print model and driver dependent. 

Unimportant in this context.

EWS > HP Document / How-to (InkJet Printers – Classic Format)

 Use the HP printer Embedded Web Server (EWS)

NOTE:  Find printer IP address

Section Open the EWS over a local network orientation

EWS – Tray and Paper Management

Classic EWS - InkJet Printers

Open your Browser > Type / enter the Printer IP address into URL / Address bar

Tab Settings > Preferences > Tray and Paper (Management)

Select / Adjust settings for Paper Size / Type

Model and EWS version Dependent:  Advanced section

Click Apply to save changes

Example - EWS - Tray and Paper

Job Configuration

Try editing / updating settings until the conflict is eliminated -

For example,

Set Print Quality to Normal

If you have some supported photo paper,

Remove the paper from the tray,

Load the Photo Paper (according to the user guide)

Update EWS (Tray and Paper).

Next,

In the job configuration / setup / Printing Preferences --

Update the Paper type (and size if needful) - Add the Borderless setting.
