HP Recommended

I installed an old C4280 to my win 11 Pro about 6 months ago without any install or print issues.  I now discovered nowthat the printer was not available so I uninstalled and try to reinstall the s/w and driver from the full package (tried as Win 7 compatible and also d/l a version that is supposed to compatible with Win10) but no luck).  It loads everything and gets 95% there and during the last stage (configuring as a few minutes), I get a failure message.  I have tried many options including HP Easy Start (just show spinning circle  with message: Checking your software needs and Print and Scan Doctor (finds problem with print drivers but recommendations to uninstall and reinstall do not work).

 

Any suggestions?
