I am using the HP Color Laser 150 Printer series Full Solution Software and Drivers set up wizard and I constantly get stuck on the Network page.

It seems my printer has a connection to the Wi-Fi network and an IP address, but it's still a failure.

My computer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network. I have another HP printer that I use normally.

How do I fix this? I can't continue with the printer installation.

(Using the USB connection works.)

Thank you.

Hi @MagiJ86,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Verify Network Connection:
Ensure both your computer and printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Sometimes, printers can accidentally connect to a guest or secondary network rather than the main one.

Check Printer's IP Address:

  • Print out the network configuration page by pressing and holding the Wireless button until the report prints.
  • Confirm the IP address on the report is in the same range as your computer (e.g., they should both start with the same first two or three segments, like 192.168.1.xxx).

Manual Wireless Setup:

  • Access the printer's Embedded Web Server (EWS) using the IP address in a web browser.
  • Navigate to 'Network Settings' and verify Wi-Fi Direct settings.
  • Re-configure network settings manually if necessary, ensuring the printer is on the correct network.

Reboot Devices:

  • Restart both your printer and your computer to refresh network settings.
  • Turn off your Wi-Fi router for a few minutes and then restart it.

Check for Software Conflicts:

  • If another HP printer is currently installed, it may cause conflicts. Try disabling its connection or uninstalling its drivers temporarily to see if setup completes successfully.

Reinstall Printer Software:

  • Uninstall any existing HP printer software from your computer.
  • Visit 123.hp.com and re-download the latest full software package for the HP Color Laser 150nw series.
  • Follow installation prompts, ensuring your printer's wireless settings are correctly configured.

Adjust Security Settings:

  • Sometimes firewall or antivirus software can block printer setup. Temporarily disable them or add exceptions for printer connectivity.

Check Router Settings:

  • Ensure that your router doesn’t have any filters or blockers that may be preventing the printer from connecting properly.

I hope this helps.
